This year, instead of the traditional promotional gifts, we decided to <strong>offset the carbon footprint<\/strong> generated by event attendees through an action with a real impact.<\/p><p>In collaboration with the <strong>Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Hotelero (ITH)<\/strong>, we activated a compensation initiative on June 17 and 18 in Madrid. Each participant in the event contributed to the Folia Project reforestation project, located in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foliaproject.com\/en\/proyectos\/proyectos-reforestacion\/bosque-folia-torrejon-de-la-calzada\/\">Torrej\u00f3n de la Calzada (Madrid)<\/a>, where native species such as hackberry, pine, elm and cedar were planted. This project aims to capture <strong>6,747 tons of CO\u2082 over the next 50 years<\/strong>, helping to restore ecological balance and promote more responsible tourism.<\/p><p>Each attendee received a personalized certificate, issued by Bioscore, accrediting their participation in the project. This gesture symbolizes our commitment to sustainability and demonstrates that, at Bioscore, <strong>sustainability is not just said, it is demonstrated.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Innovation and Connection with the Sector<\/strong><\/p><p>The ITH Innovation Summit is a key space for innovation, artificial intelligence and sustainability in the tourism sector. Participating in events like this allows us to connect directly with professionals and companies in the sector, and to understand first-hand the challenges and needs they face. These conversations allow us to develop technological tools aligned with the real demands of the market, to create concrete and useful solutions that promote more responsible tourism.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>We appreciate the collaboration of all the attendees who joined our initiative and contributed to this collective action of real impact.
