The international sustainability certification, now available in Hungarian, supports the sustainable transformation of the national tourism sector.
Innotime Hungary has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the internationally recognized company Bioscore to offer the Bioscore Tourism Business Certification in Hungary. The initiative aims to support travel agencies, congress and conference organizers, convention centers and other players in the MICE sector, helping them to structure their sustainable management and obtain internationally accredited recognition.
The certification is inspired by internationally recognized principles, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the criteria of the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council). The reference to these standards seeks to harmonize the program’s principles with globally accepted best practices.
Bioscore certification evaluates the performance of companies in six key areas:
- Sustainable management and governance
- Emissions and carbon footprint
- Energy
- Water
- Waste
- Corporate Social Responsibility
