About us
Bioscore is a technology company specializing in sustainability as applied to the tourism sector. Our team brings together expertise in tourism, ESG management, data analysis, certification, and specialized consulting. We develop solutions that enable accommodations, destinations, and tourism organizations to measure, manage, and track their environmental, social, and governance performance using structured, traceable, and evidence-based information.
Through the Bioscore Data Platform, we digitize the management of indicators, consumption, emissions, water, waste, objectives, actions, and evidence. These features facilitate the tracking of information, the setting of priorities, and the preparation of compliance assessment processes. Bioscore also owns and develops the BIOSCORE Certification Scheme for tourist accommodations. Operating in more than 45 countries, we combine technology and industry expertise to turn ESG information into a useful tool for management and communication.

Bioscore’s mission is to democratise sustainability by enabling accommodation providers, destinations and tourism organisations, regardless of their size or structure, to manage their ESG information through accessible technology, industry expertise and clearly defined criteria.

To help the tourism sector manage its ESG information using consistent, traceable and comparable criteria, facilitating the continuous and systematic monitoring of environmental, social and governance indicators and the clear communication of verifiable actions and results.

We clearly and precisely communicate the scope of our solutions, methodologies, and processes. We work to ensure that the information we manage is accessible, traceable, and verifiable, while distinguishing Bioscore’s functions from the responsibilities of independent certification bodies.

We apply defined criteria and structured processes to data management and the BIOSCORE Certification Scheme. The separation between the management of the scheme and the assessment of compliance safeguards the independence of the certification process.

Evidence-Based Accountability
We develop solutions to measure, organize, and track indicators, consumption, emissions, water, waste, goals, and actions, and to facilitate informed decision-making. We believe that any claim regarding sustainability must be backed by concrete, traceable, and verifiable information.
Accessibility and Non-Discrimination
Access to the BIOSCORE Certification Program is based on transparent, fair, and non-discriminatory conditions for the tourist accommodations included within its scope. The application for certification is voluntary, and access to the process is not contingent on membership in associations, business groups, or other organizations.
Independence of the verification
Compliance with the requirements set forth in the Standard is subject to a third-party assessment conducted by an entity independent of the tourist accommodation seeking certification. The certification process establishes mechanisms designed to ensure the objectivity of the assessment and to prevent commercial, economic, or other interests from influencing the certification outcome.
