On November 5, 2025, Valencia became a key meeting point for sustainability and innovation with the celebration of the VLC-Green Summit 2025, organized by the Valencia Chamber of Commerce and considered one of the most influential forums on green transition in Spain.
Within this framework, Víctor Monzón, CEO Bioscore, participated in the round table entitled “Global Tourism and Wellness: Sustainability, Food and Best Practices”, where he shared perspectives, challenges and best practices in sustainable tourism aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The VLC-Green Summit 2025 brought together professionals, organizations and leaders committed to sustainable development from multiple disciplines: from circular economy and eco-design to responsible communication and regenerative tourism practices.
During the day, different panels addressed how to integrate sustainability in a cross-cutting manner in business and economic activities. The panel on tourism stood out for its Human-Centric approach, putting global wellbeing and social impact at the center of the discussion.
The round table on tourism and global welfare was attended by:
David Baixauli, LaLiga’s Corporate Projects Manager
Cristina Vicente, Director of the Training Area of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce.
Noelia Santos, ICTES Technical Director
Víctor Monzón, CEO of Bioscore
Moderated by Juan Ángel Martín(Comerso Iberia)
This diversity of profiles made it possible to analyze tourism from multiple perspectives, covering social aspects (welfare, food, experiences) as well as environmental and responsible management aspects.
At Bioscore, we remain committed to certification and measurement as key levers to transform the tourism sector towards a more sustainable future.
We thank Cámara Valencia and the community for organizing an event that encourages dialogue, action and cooperation. And we continue our commitment to support the sustainable transformation of the tourism sector, inspired by initiatives like the VLC Green Summit that remind us that change is possible when we join forces towards common goals.

Victor answered a key question for the future of the sector: Why is sustainable tourism certification fundamental to ensure credibility and continuous improvement?
Sustainable tourism certification makes it possible to move from discourse to action. It provides a rigorous and verifiable framework that generates trust, avoids greenwashing and demonstrates the real commitment of companies and destinations to sustainability.
It also makes sustainability measurable and manageable. Through clear indicators, organizations can identify areas for improvement, make data-driven decisions and move in a structured way towards more responsible models.
Finally, certification drives continuous improvement. It is not about obtaining a seal, but a living process that fosters constant evolution, alignment with the SDGs and the integration of sustainability in the daily management of tourism.
