Bioscore at #ITHInnovationSummit 2025: Offsetting the Carbon Footprint and Betting on Responsible Tourism.

At the ITH Innovation Summit 2025, Bioscore took a step forward in its commitment to sustainability. This year, instead of the traditional promotional gifts, we decided to offset the carbon footprint generated by event attendees through an action with a real impact.

In collaboration with the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), we activated a compensation initiative on June 17 and 18 in Madrid. Each participant in the event contributed to the Folia Project reforestation project, located in Torrejón de la Calzada (Madrid), where native species such as hackberry, pine, elm and cedar were planted. This project aims to capture 6,747 tons of CO₂ over the next 50 years, helping to restore ecological balance and promote more responsible tourism.

Each attendee received a personalized certificate, issued by Bioscore, accrediting their participation in the project. This gesture symbolizes our commitment to sustainability and demonstrates that, at Bioscore, sustainability is not just said, it is demonstrated.
