Bioscore participated as a Sustainability Partner at TIS 2026, where it showcased its technology and certification solutions for the tourism sector and introduced Events & Balance as a participation tool for attendees.

From October 6 to 8, Bioscore participated in TIS – Tourism Innovation Summit 2026, held at FIBES in Seville, an event that brought together professionals from the tourism sector to discuss the technologies, strategies, and management models that are transforming the industry.

Our presentation focused on how technology can help hotels, destinations, and tourism organizations manage their sustainability data, make informed decisions, and document their progress.

During TIS 2026, we unveiled Bioscore Data Platform, our technology platform for centralizing the management of sustainability indicators. Its features include consumption tracking, carbon footprint and water footprint calculations, circularity assessments, waste management, and goal tracking. It also incorporates automation tools powered by artificial intelligence and specialized solutions such as Don’t Waste Food, Waste Management, and Events & Balance. The platform adapts to a variety of needs, ranging from the individual management of a single establishment to the consolidation of information for hotel groups and tourist destinations.

Along with our technology, we share our certification programs, which are based on defined criteria and documented evidence.

As a Sustainability Partner, Bioscore introduced “Events & Balance by Bioscore” as an engagement tool for event attendees. Using a personalized QR code, participants could enter information about their place of origin, accommodations, and the modes of transportation they used to travel to Seville. Based on this data, the tool calculated an individual estimate of the carbon footprint associated with the trip. It also offered the option to make a voluntary financial contribution to national reforestation or ecosystem restoration projects and receive a certificate of the contribution via email. The final participation results are pending.

Sharing Solutions for the Tourism Industry

Our presentation included a brief pitch at the Tourism Innovation Theatre, titled “Bioscore Data Platform: Real Problems, Simple Solutions in Tourism Sustainability”, in which we addressed some of the day-to-day challenges of managing tourism sustainability and how to tackle them through technological solutions.

Throughout the three days, our team was also present at booth 1E505, where we exchanged experiences with professionals from hotels, destinations, and tourism organizations and shared our sustainability management solutions.

Our participation in TIS 2026 allowed us to share experiences and gain firsthand insight into the needs of professionals in the sector. This exchange reinforces our commitment to developing tools that address the real challenges of tourism management and help organizations turn their data into concrete decisions and actions.
